Lanterns of Love – An Evening of Remembrance

There is something incredibly beautiful about seeing the water filled with glowing lanterns, each one representing someone who is loved and remembered.

Join us on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Rotary Park in Kemptville for Lanterns of Love, a peaceful evening to pause and remember someone who is no longer with us.

Your loss may be recent, or it may have been many years ago. You may be remembering a parent, partner, child, sibling, friend or someone else who left a lasting place in your life. 

Lanterns of Love offers a simple and meaningful way to honour them.

As the sun sets, lanterns will be released onto the water by the docks, creating a beautiful display of light, love and remembrance.

 Everyone who has someone they would like to remember is welcome.
