Hike for Hospice 2026
Sunday, May 31
Ferguson Forest Centre

Join us for Hike for Hospice—one of our most meaningful and community-driven events of the year. Whether you walk in memory of someone, in support of a loved one, or simply because you believe in compassionate care close to home, this is a day that brings people together in a powerful way.

Check-in begins at 10:30 AM, with the hike starting together at 11:00 AM. Participants can choose a 1 km, 3 km, or 5 km route through the beautiful trails of Ferguson Forest. Can’t make it that day? You can still take part by hiking your way anytime throughout the month of May.

This is more than just a walk—it’s a celebration of community and connection. Visit our memorial area to honour loved ones, enjoy a family fun zone with lawn games and a bubble tent, and stay for a community BBQ after the hike.

This is a pet-friendly event, so feel free to bring your dog along—plus, the first 35 dogs registered will receive a special doggy loot bag from Pet Valu.

Every step and every dollar raised helps Beth Donovan Hospice continue to provide free programs and services, including caregiver support, grief and bereavement care, in-home visiting, and equipment lending across our community.

Be part of something that truly matters. Walk with us.
